Sustainable energy solution provider MIA has launched a new Rent-to-Own Premium Solar offering in South Africa.

The company explains that as loadshedding continues to worsen, along with no real end being in sight, this solution is designed to help more South African homeowners access affordable and reliable solar energy.

Given how expensive an outlay fitting your home with solar can be, even with the proposed tax incentives, it is simply not tenable financially for the majority of South Africans. MIA says this new product helps specifically with this hurdle.

“With the cost of electricity on the rise, many homeowners are looking for alternative ways to power their homes. However, the upfront cost of installing a solar energy system can be a barrier for many. MIA’s Rent-to-Own Premium Solar Solution offers a solution to this problem by allowing homeowners to pay for their solar system in monthly instalments, with no upfront costs,” it explained in a press release sent to Hypertext.

“We understand that the upfront cost of installing a solar energy system can be a significant barrier for many homeowners. That’s why we’re excited to launch our Rent-to-Own Premium Solar Solution, which makes it easier and more affordable for homeowners to access clean and reliable energy,” added MIA CEO, Bryan Driessel.

MIA also notes that it has licensed installers across the country, including green card-holding electricians, as well as supplying equipment that is carefully matched to guarantee clients receive a high-quality solution.

Along with offering this new solution, MIA says it provides franchise prospects for those wishing to enter this burgeoning industry.
