- Huawei has launched two new flagship phones in South Africa, both of which are now up for pre-order.
- The pre-orders are running from 19th May to 31st May 2023, with discounted bundles on offer from Huawei.
- The P60 Pro is discounted by R2 500 and the Mate X3 is discounted by R4 500.
Earlier today Huawei held an event to mark the launch of a series of flagship devices for South Africa, but in particular to high-end smartphones – the P60 Pro and Mate X3. Both phones officially go on sale on 1st June, but Huawei Mobile SA has made pre-orders available via its dedicated online store.
The company, as it often does, is sweetening the pre-orders by offering discounts and bundling in other accessories. The pre-orders run from 19th May to 31st May 2023, Huawei has confirmed.
Looking at what’s on offer, we start with the P60 Pro, which is being sold in two colour options – Black and Rococo Pearl.
The device is recommended to retail for R24 999, but Huawei is knocking R2 500 off the price as part of the pre-order, as well as bundling a Huawei Watch GT 3 SE and FreeBuds 5i. Huawei is selling all this for R22 499.
Moving onto the foldable, which is the third one that Huawei has brought to SA and the Mate X3 is quite a bit more than the P60 Pro. Its recommended retail price is R44 999 for the Dark Green model (12GB RAM, 512GB storage), but Huawei is selling it for R4 500 less at R40 499.
Like the P60 Pro, the pre-order deal runs until 31st May, along with bundling in the same accessories – the Watch GT 3 SE and FreeBuds 5i.
