How to tune into the WWDC 23 this evening

  • Apple will kick off its annual developer conference, WWDC 23, at 19:00 local time this evening.
  • The Cupertino-based company is expected to debut its much talked about mixed reality headset at the event.
  • If revealed, it would represent an entirely new category of products and ecosystem for Apple.

At 19:00 this evening (local time), Apple will kick off its annual developer conference. While this event is normally tuned into for fans of the brand to see what new software is in the works, WWDC 23 will be different as new hardware is expected.

More specifically a mixed reality headset, along with some new iMacs and MacBooks, if reports are to be believed.

Should the former come to fruition, it would represent an entire new category for the company, as well as an accompanying operating system. Much is expected from the Apple mixed reality headset, especially as only a handful of players in the market have continued in the ecosystem since it rose to popularity a decade ago.

It will also prove interesting to compare the Apple-made headset to the latest offering from Meta.

With that in mind, here are the different ways that you can tune into the event this evening at 19:00:

The easiest way to do so is via Apple’s YouTube channel, which already has a placeholder livestream for the event at 19:00 this evening. We’ve also embedded said placeholder below, should you wish to return to this story and watch WWDC 23 kick off.

The other avenues are very much Apple-related and hardware dependent. You can for example watch the event line on your Apple TV device, with a link appearing on the home screen of the device’s UI.

Apple also has a dedicated Events website that you can visit, but the live stream access is often browser specific, with Safari working the best.

Any one of the above methods should have you covered this evening. Hypertext will also be tuning into the event and sharing any significant announcements made on the night here, so be sure to check in our site.
