Only a few days left to apply for Schneider Electric Global Student Experience programme

  • Schneider Electric is calling on local students to register for its Global Student Experience.
  • Registrations close soon on 16th June, so there is not a lot of time to waste.
  • The Experience offers a series of series of e-learning modules and simulated projects in fields like sales, marketing, supply chain, sustainability, and more.

Global energy management company Schneider Electric is putting the call out to local students interesting in growing their knowledge via its Global Student Experience programme.

The programme requires people to register, but there is not much time left to do so as registrations close on 16th June. As such, those interested in what is on offer need to act quickly.

As for what the Schneider Electric Global Student Experience programme is touting, the company explains that it will deliver a series of e-learning modules and simulated projects aimed at sharing information related to their careers.

The modules and projects cover a number of different areas, including sales and marketing, services, supply chain management, digital careers, and sustainability as a business.

“Whilst formal learning institutions provide students with valuable knowledge, they often lack the requisite practical, real-life skills training that are essential in the workplace. The Schneider Electric’s Global Student Experience bridges this gap, providing current and practical guidance to hit the road running,” highlights Modlay Davids, Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding specialist at Schneider Electric.

Breaking down the Global Student Experience programme, Schneider Electric noted the following:

  • Three weeks skills building – enrol in the available e-learning courses (sales and marketing, services, supply chain, digital careers, or sustainability as a business) to boost your career towards professional accreditation.
  • Three weeks project simulation – select and develop a project topic to resolve a real business need. Students will have to record their final project presentation as part of their submission.
  • Feedback and programme completion – Schneider Electric’s leaders and field professionals will provide review feedback on how to improve students’ skills.  Students will also receive a completion certificate which they can also showcase on their LinkedIn profile.”
