Balwin offering Black Friday deals on property

  • Blawin Properties is the latest company to announce Black Friday deals, offering discounts at some of its local developments.
  • The biggest discount is up to R10 million off of a R80 million penthouse in Umhlanga.
  • The property developer is currently listing deals at eight of its estates.

As we pass the midway point of November, the Black Friday deals are getting a little weirder and bigger. Case in point Balwin Properties, which earlier today alerted its customers to the Black Friday promotions that it is running at a number of developments across South Africa.

The property developer shared a link to its deals landing page too, which currently features offers for eight different Balwin developments by our count.

The headline-grabbing deal is for Izinga Eco-Estate in Umhlanga, with up to R10 million being knocked off the asking price of an R80 million penthouse apartment.

Some of the other noteworthy deals are as follows:

  • Munyaka Lifestyle Estate (Waterfall, Johannesburg) – Up to R600 000 discounts on 2-Bed, 2 Bath or 3-Bed, 3-Bath Lagoon-facing Signature apartments,
  • Mooikloof Eco-Estate (Atterbury, Pretoria) – Up to R350 000 discounts on 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments,
  • Greencreek Lifestyle Estate (Mamelodi, Pretoria) – Up to R200 000 discounts on 1-, 2- and 3–bedroom apartments,
  • Thaba Eco-Village (Rietvlei, Johannesburg) – Up to R340 000 discounts on 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom apartments,
  • The Blyde Lifestyle Estate (Bronkhorstspruit, Pretoria) – Up to R300 000 discounts on 1-, 2-, or 3-bedroom apartments,
  • The Reid Lifestyle Estate (Linbro Park, Johannesburg) – Up to R290 000 discounts on 3 bed, 2 bath Penthouse apartments,
  • The Polofields (Waterfall, Johannesburg) – Up to R360 000 discounts on 3 bed, 2 bath Signature apartments.

While the discounts listed above sound promising, it is also worthwhile pointing out that several of Balwin’s developments have been in the news of late, with The Blyde and Kikuyu (Waterfall, Johannesburg) earning the ire of residents for different reasons. The latter was at the centre of resident frustration over a sustained period without any power.

As such, before snapping up one of these offers, it is always best to do a bit of research, with the same applying for any Black Friday deals this month.
