Samsung SA launches Black Friday deals on smart TVs

Samsung South Africa is offering discounts on large-screen smart TVs, PC monitors and audio devices for Black Friday 2023.
One highlighted deal is for a 98″ 4K TV going for R99 999, which will also net you a free Gen 2 Freestyle projector.
There are many discounts and deals available on the Samsung SA website until 27th November 2023.

Like a looming storm cloud Black Friday is upon us, and as we inch closer to Friday 24th November this year, the biggest retailers in South Africa have already started announcing deals, discounts and sales.

Among those that no longer believe a single-day shopping bonanza is worthwhile is Samsung South Africa, which have announced sales on its TVs that will run throughout the month from 1st to 27th November.

A highlight deal of this sale is for the 98″ QLED 4K Q80C “super big television” set. It is currently 33 percent off and has been reduced to R99 999.

If this price tag seems impossibly large, remember that last year on Black Friday Takealot was moving 75″ Samsung Smart TVs for R100 000 a pop so there is definitely a customer base.

To sweeten this deal Samsung is also offering an included Freestyle 2nd Gen Smart Projector for free when you buy the 98″ 4K TV and you will also automatically be eligible for Signature Service, which includes free delivery, free installation, expert product setup and the brand’s best customer service.

The 2nd Gen Freestyle projector you get the ability to project up to 100″ for the full cinema experience. It also comes with an in-build speaker system so you won’t have to splurge on any audio devices to accompany it. Owing to its name, the Freestyle projector is also easy to set up and it has Smart TV capabilities so you will be able to project media from all your favourite streaming platforms. This device usually retails for R13 999.
