• Steam has launched its Autumn Sale for the Black Friday weekend, one of its top four sales events of the year.
• There are thousands of PC games now available at discounts of up to 90 percent from indie darlings to AAA showcases.

One of the two biggest sales of the year has come to Steam in the guise of the Autumn Sale which coincidentally falls on the Black Friday weekend, from 21st to 28th November 2023. PC gamers can see discounts of up to 80 percent for some great titles during this short-lived sale.

The last two months of the year are usually the best times to buy PC games on Steam as the Valve-owned online retailer offers wide-ranging discounts. In fact, PC gamers are often told to wait for the Autumn and Winter sales before their yearly splurges.

As a matter of fact, 85 of the 100 top-selling games on Steam are currently on sale, and most of the games not on sale are free to play. There are so many discounts on offer, and so many great games available for just under R300.
