Xpand IT acquires Premier IT Solutions

  • Xpand IT has announced that it has acquired a majority stake in Premier IT Solutions.
  • The acquisition will allow Xpand IT to service a wider region of Johannesburg.
  • Furthermore, Xpand IT is looking for more partnerships further afield.

In a bid to further its growth ambitions, Xpand IT has announced the acquisition of Premier IT Solutions located in the East Rand of Johannesburg.

This is a rather noteworthy acquisition given Premier IT Solutions’ client list which includes massive corporations such as Nestle, IBM and Konica Minolta. The firm which becomes part of Xpand IT, offers B2B ecommerce implementation and integration.

“We are excited to join hands with Xpand IT, a company known for its expertise in support and cyber security. This partnership allows us to enhance our existing client relationships and offer a broader range of services,” said Neil Sears, owner of Premier IT Solutions.

“I am excited to better service my existing clients through an increased level of support using the latest technologies that incorporate both human and AI benefits,” Sears adds.

Beyond the East Rand of Johannesburg, Xpand IT is looking for partners to expand into Bloemfontein, Kimberley, Mbombela (Nelspruit), Paarl (Winelands), Polokwane (Pietersburg), Rustenburg, Gqeberha (PE), Gaborone and Windhoek. The firm says that through partnerships in these areas, it will be able to provide an increased level of support to its existing clients and prospective clients throughout South Africa.

“Our head office is based in the north of Johannesburg, and we wanted to extend our reach east of Johannesburg. This move aligns perfectly with our overarching business strategy to expand our national footprint and provide greater customer coverage with multiple branches locally and internationally,” managing director of Xpand IT, Brett Scott, pictured in the header, wrote in a press statement.
