The Vodacom Financial and Digital Lifestyle Services arm of the company have announced an interesting new offering for those wanting to secure a personal loan. This as VodaLend Personal Loans have officially been launched and aim to offer South Africans with a responsible credit solution should they need to secure funds.

The new financial solution is delivered in partnership Old Mutual Finance, which serves as a registered credit provider, and will gives Vodacom customers and non-customers alike access to a personal loan of up to R250 000, should they meet the necessary requirements.

“We understand that the high cost of living and other economic pressures are taking their toll on consumers. Through VodaLend Personal Loans, we are offering an accessible, trusted and reliable financial solution backed by a reputable partner, which can support customers in achieving their personal goals and financial well-being,” noted Mariam Cassim, CEO of Vodacom Financial and Digital Lifestyle Services, of the new solution’s launch.

Unpacking how applications work, Vodacom says that customers (and non-customers) can apply for a loan online and will be notified of provisional approval within minutes of submitting all the required documentation.

From there, approved customers will receive their funds directly into their bank account within 24 hours of concluding their loan agreements.
