The man who calls himself the most “ruthless, athletic competitor” in gaming, Herschel “Guy” Beahm better known as Dr Disrespect has been fired from the gaming company he founded after evidence emerged that he contacted minors secretly while using the Twitch app – an action that got him banned four years ago.

On Monday, Beahm sent out an X post discussing the events that led to that infamous ban at that time, finally revealing the reason for facing the ban-hammer, and it’s not a good one. “Were there Twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes”, he admits.
