Jamie Campbell Bower, hot off his role in the latest season of Stranger Things, will be visiting South Africa later this month for Comic Con 2022.
The convention, taking place between 22nd and 24th September this year at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, has confirmed the appearance of the celebrity on social media.
Bower has become arguably the biggest attraction of the event for many people since the announcement and we wouldn’t be too surprised if lots of his fans who weren’t planning on attending have now booked tickets.
While we’re excited for Bower to appear, our favourite announcement for Comic Con Africa is still Power Rangers actor Selwyn Ward who has taken the mantle of various Rangers over the years. Ward, Bower and others are bulking up this convention’s list of reasons to attend as there continually seems to be something for everyone this time around.

It’s worth checking that site again in the coming days as it has not yet been updated with features like the photo opportunities and autograph sessions with the celebrities. As this is one of the major draws for celebrity attendances at cons, those interested will need to keep refreshing to get their foot in the door.
As you can see by the reveal tweet below, however, Bower will be appearing for three of the four days of the con.
