Anonymous Africa has struck again, this time, the “hacktivist” group fired shots at the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), claiming it had taken down its website late on Monday afternoon.
It started when the group asked Twitter follower which political party it should taregt and why.
If you had our resources, which would you want to protest the most loudly at? ANC, ZANU-PF, EFF, SABC? Let us know who and why! :)

Then, Anonymous Africa put up a blog post explaining why it chose to take down the EFF’s website.
“The EFF were selected for attention for becoming a black version of the German Nazi Party. Anonymous Africa has long stood up against racists. Of every color [sic],” the group said.
However, not everyone agreed with the accusation that the party is racist.
Explain how is #EFF racist #BlackmanCantBeRacist https://t.co/WQ2qA4J5hT

If you ever wondered how the EFF ended up on our “racist” category, you need to look no further. https://t.co/7y9dNBOg0s

Racist EFF trolls are frothing at the mouth for us not supporting their racism. We saw what happened with ZANU-PF in Zim, we know their lies

We do not support black nationalism, we do not support white nationalism. We support no nationalism. Stop those who want to separate us

To the white racists who think our attacks on EFF are for them. no. You are a target to us as well. Make a racist comment, become fair game

Someone in the EFF said we were bluffing about taking down the EFF site and we did not have the power. #ChallengeAccepted

The EFF and its leader Julius Malema are yet to respond to the attacks. However, by about 6:30pm the site was back up.
