The DA today filed its founding affidavit at the Western Cape High Court to have Hlaudi Motsoeneng removed from the SABC.
The DA wants the same court which declared Hlaudi Motsoeneng unfit to be the SABC’s COO, to declare him unfit for his new job.
Hlaudi Motsoeneng may have to face another SABC disciplinary hearing against him, which the DA hopes will result in his dismissal.
Hlaudi Motsoeneng has said he will not pursue a matric or tertiary certificate, indicating that he performs well in his duties, without qualifications.
The SABC is yet to state who should be liable for the costs of the Labour Court case between it and four of the eight journalists fired in July.
SABC board member Krish Naidoo has shockingly hit out at his colleagues, calling the board “dysfunctional” and saying it should be dissolved.
