Oscar Pistorius is back in the High Court in Pretoria this morning for his sentencing of the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
Judge Thokozile Masipa, who controversially sentenced Pistorius to only five years for culpable homicide, will again preside over the case, which was overturned by the Supreme Court of Appeal in favour of an application by the state.
The state had argued that Pistorius should be found guilty of murder, whether or not he had intended to kill Steenkamp or the robber Pistorius alleged he thought she was.
Judge Masipa’s ruling was overturned and Pistorius was found guilty of murder.
Pistorius spent almost a year incarcerated at the Kgosi Mampuru Prison in Pretoria, after being released under house arrest in October last year.
Pistorius faces up to 15 years in prison for murder.
