We’re down to just two journos for this week’s africast, with Brendyn enjoying a well deserved break and Clinton’s voice out of commission. Nevertheless Robin-Leigh and Nokulunga handle things, and chat about two polar opposite topics.
First up Robin looks at some of the biggest announcements made by Apple for WWDC 19, highlighting iOS 13, the introduction of iPadOS and what’s inside macOS Catalina. Oh we also discuss the ridiculously expensive new Mac Pro, which looks like a giant cheese grater.
After Apple is dealt with, Nokulunga picks up with a story she covered late last week, where a report suggested South Africa’s LLB graduates lack the sufficient critical thinking to enter the workplace. It’s an issue that most institutions are grappling with, and one that Absa is trying to address with its own Gen A Graduate Programme.
