Spend Halloween indoors with another Steam sale

If you thought you were getting to the end of the month without spending more money on games, think again. The Steam Halloween Sale is back in 2021 and will run until 1st November.

Like it has done for multiple years Valve has still not brought back limited time sales so you can shop whenever you have time without worrying about missing out on discounts.

The best way to shop, as always, is through your Steam wishlist. Despite being the sale for Halloween it’s not just horror titles on sale.

In your wishlist, in the top right corner, you can sort by price or by discount to see which games have the best deals.

If your wishlist is a bit too short or you want to browse the Steam Halloween Sale main page, you will find it separated into the following sections:

  • Just for you
  • Horror
  • Spooky Themes
  • Not horror
  • Features and players

If your credit card is already begging for mercy as the month ends you can still do some shopping without spending any real money through the Steam Points Store.

There’s a dedicated section in the Points Store for new items released for Halloween.

These new items can be found here and we think these must be the best seasonal items done for a sale so far ever since the Point Store became a permanent fixture on Steam.

This is thanks to artists Manuel Cetina and Heather Vaughan who contributed their work not only to the unique rose / eyeball key art for the sale, but also the new store items which are:

  • Halloween Sale complete bundle – 15 300 points
  • Special profiles (4) – 5 000 points each
  • Animated avatars (2) – 3 000 points each
  • Mini-profile backgrounds (2) – 2 000 points each
  • Animated stickers (7) – 1 000 points each

Finally it’s worth remembering that there will actually be two more Steam sales before 2021 is over – the Autumn Sale (24th November to 30th November) and the Winter Sale (22nd December 2021 to 5th January 2022). Use this information to plan your game buying accordingly.
