Logitech is testing NVIDIA Broadcast integration with G HUB

Peripheral maker Logitech has partnered up with NVIDIA to help give its audio tech an edge in a market that is swamped by a myriad options.

That edge is NVIDIA Broadcast or RTX Voice as it was previously known. Importantly, Blue (which Logitech acquired in 2018) is also involved in this partnership.

The partnership will see NVIDIA Broadcast integrated into Logitech’s G HUB audio drivers.

“NVIDIA Broadcast makes it fast and easy for users to clean up their mic signal and eliminate unwanted background noises in a single click, from Noise Removal, Room Echo Removal, or both. From keyboard clicking to distracting PC fans, they’ve got you covered. You can even test your mic signal to find the perfect settings for your set up,” Logitech explained.

This integration is currently available as part of an open beta test and you will need the latest version of G HUB as well as an NVIDIA RTX 2060 GPU or better.

The following headsets and microphones are compatible with the Open Beta test:

  • G733 Gaming Headset
  • PRO X Gaming Headset
  • PRO X Wireless Gaming Headset
  • Blue Yeti X Microphone
  • Blue Yeti X World of Warcraft Edition Microphone
  • Blue Yeti Microphone
  • Blue Yeti Nano Microphone.

It’s great to see NVIDIA Broadcast being implemented by hardware manufacturers like Logitech. Hopefully this leads to better audio not only for streamers and content creators but for the folks in your game lobby as well.

Hopefully we see more integrations like this from other hardware makers in future.
