With the festive season and holidays fast approaching, MTN has revised the pricing for its social media data bundles. The network first introduced these bundles in early 2018 and the new pricing is designed to offer customers greater value for money.
“Social Bundles uptake has been phenomenal over the three years with more customers choosing to stay connected with friends and families on these platforms. These enhancements are in line with our efforts to make data more affordable and accessible for South Africans,” notes Jacqui O’Sullivan, executive for Corporate Affairs at MTN SA.
“To further add value to our customers, we have reviewed and revised our Social Bundles portfolio by adding new bundles,” she adds.
The revised pricing is split into WhatsApp-specific bundles and a more generic social media, which includes popular platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and TikTok.
The old and new pricing for WhatsApp data bundles are as follows:
