The McLaren 765LT is the latest real car in Rocket League

Crossovers usually involve two fictional worlds colliding but the latest one for Rocket league is slightly more grounded with the McLaren 765LT now available in the game as a playable car.

This is far from the first time that an actual vehicle from the real world has appeared in the game with the massive number of cars in Rocket League also including makes such as Aston Martin, Ford, Lamborghini, Dodge, Nissan and more.

This isn’t even McLaren’s first time in the game with the 570S also appearing in the past.

Real car models are just as likely to be in the game as Batmobiles and Hot Wheels, an ideal mix for any car game. We’re still playing Forza Horizon 5 and having as much fun as possible while certain issues persist, but we hope more fictional vehicles are added to that game in the future.

Back to Rocket League and what can people expect for this new McLaren crossover?

“In the real world, the McLaren 765LT features the exhilarating power of a 4.0 litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which dashes 0-60 MPH in just 2.7 seconds. In Rocket League, the thrilling speedster has a Dominus hitbox and is ready to soar and score everywhere from Beckwith Park to Champions Field,” reads an announcement.

Players can spend 1 100 credits on a bundle containing the following:

  • McLaren 765LT
  • McLaren 765LT Engine Audio
  • McLaren 765LT Wheels
  • McLaren 765LT Wheels (Black Painted)
  • McLaren 765LT Decal (Silver Painted)
  • McLaren 765LT Player Banner

For those who want to see what the car and the other cosmetics look like before pulling the trigger, a new trailer can be watched at the bottom of this store.

Rocket League is free to play and available on Nintendo Switch, PC (Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
