There will be ‘5+ years of support’ for Dying Light 2

The original Dying Light from 2015 is famous for continuing to receive content and updates long after its release, and it has been revealed that this commitment to the series will continue with Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

The official Twitter account for the game has revealed this in a Tweet along with a roadmap for the game following its release next week on 4th February.

Definitive plans for the game are provided until June of this year with some important information provided in the small text near the bottom of the image.

There is an asterisks connected to the first story DLC which reveals that it will be paid, which also means that everything else shown on the roadmap will be free.

Interestingly the image attached to the first story DLC can be viewed above, showing a character with a spear fighting off a horde of zombies. We’re not sure if this specific image – which has been used in marketing for the game – actually relates to the DLC or was just used as a placeholder in the roadmap image.

At the bottom of the image there is also some small words from publisher and developer
Techland mentioning fixes, improvements, patches, rewards and activities.

These kinds of smaller additions are also very welcome on top of the additional content.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. A cloud version of the Nintendo Switch has been delayed and won’t be joining the other ports on 4th February.
