It has been revealed that the next Music Pack for VR rhythm game Beat Saber will be Fall Out Boy.
The band itself has provided us this list of songs included in the pack with just eight here:
- Centuries.
- Dance, Dance.
- I Don’t Care.
- Immortals.
- Irresistible.
- My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up).
- This Ain’t A Scene, It’s An Arms Race.
- Thnks fr th Mmrs.
It’s a fairly decent mix of songs and a good representation of the band from its years of making music, though we would have liked to see more than eight tracks. Some artists added to the game have a range of different amount of songs: Billie Eilish (10), Skrillex (eight), BTS (12) and Linkin Park (11).
As always the songs should be made available to buy individually with many of the past DLC songs going for R18 a pop, at least on Steam. Steam lists 71 paid DLC songs have been added to Beat Saber over the years and it would cost R1 278 to buy them all.
Back to Fall Out Boy and and we’re also given a very quick teaser trailer for this content. Like other artists it seems that there will be a new level to go along with the music.
By the way we’d like some pats on the back today as we resisted the strong urge to write the headline in the same manner as “Thnks fr th Mmrs”. Imagine scrolling through your news feed and seeing this abomination in there – “Bt Sbr t dd Fll t B/y Msc Pck sn”. It would also be criminal to mention all of that and not link to this video.
