If you need some new games to get you through the week Steam has you covered with not one but two sales happening right now.
The first of these is the Capcom Publisher Sale which will last until 21st March and is focused on big franchises from the publisher such as Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Devil May Cry and more.
Looking through the offerings and there’s some great games with some pretty good discounts attached to them. More than that, for owners of these games, most of the expansions and paid DLCs are also discounted in price, so those who have been waiting to grab something may want to do so now.
The other event is the JRPG Sale which also ends on 21st March.
As you may expect the offering here is much more varied compared to only games from Capcom, though we did notice a weird quirk here.
Steam has this sale divided into several sections – featured, classic, 2D, 3D, pixel and turn-based – though it keeps showing the same games no matter which section you click on.
We’re not experts in videogame art here but we’re pretty sure games like Persona 5 Strikers (45 percent off) and Yakuza: Like a Dragon (also 45 percent off) are not pixel art games.
That aside you can find in the list below, in alphabetical order, some deals that caught our eye while browsing.
As always the advice remains the same for Steam sales: while casually browsing Steam the rest of the time add any games you like into your wishlist. When a sale kicks off you can then visit that wishlist and sort by discount to find the best deals.
This has been the best way to do things for years now ever since Steam killed the deeper discounts which only used to last a few hours.
