Lamborghini Countach the latest, real car for Rocket League

Rocket League is known for its fictional vehicles that developer Psyonix has created as well as crossovers to bring in Batmobiles, Battle Buses and more, but today a real car has been announced for the game in the form of the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4.

This reimagining of the classic Countach will be available to buy in Rocket League from 30th March but only until 5th April.

The car will be made available in a bundle that will cost players 1 100 credits and contain the following:

  • “Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 Car (Dominus Hitbox)

  • Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 Engine Audio

  • Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 Player Banner

  • Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 Wheels

  • Lamborghini Countach 70s Wheels

  • Argento Luna Decal.”

Those hoping to go wild with customisation on their new Lambo may be disappointed as not all cosmetic items can be used on the car and the cosmetic items in the bundle are exclusive to it.

The classic white colourway with matching wheels is the hero look for the car and you can see it in a very short trailer embedded below, though we do also get a look at a blue version with gold wheels in the header image above.

Those gold wheels are also using the 70s wheels mentioned in the bundle.

It’s worth mentioning that this release is also timed up with some competitive Rocket League taking place right now.

“The name Lamborghini is associated with greatness, and that legacy continues as an official sponsor of the 2021-22 Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) Winter Major. The Winter Major runs from March 23-27, with the final two days on March 26 and 27 being played live from the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles,” the announcement reads.
