TelkomONE now features 44 channels to choose from

Launched in November 2020, Telkom’s streaming service TelkomONE has been growing slowly but steadily and today it was revealed that as many as 8 new channels we’re being added to the bouquet.

This brings the total number of channels available to viewers to 44. These channels include TNT Africa, BBC World News, Faith TV and SABC channels. What’s more is that TelkomONE has started dipping its toes into live sports. The W-Sport channel features women’s sport and recently the CAF pop-up channel was added to the mix.

Furthermore, TelkomONE recently announced a partnership with SABC Sport to broadcast the 2023 Netball World Cup.

“We’re going all-out to consistently add more local content, international linear TV channels and many more hours of on-demand content to our already substantial streaming offering, to suit youth and family audiences.” said executive of Smart Home and Content at Telkom, Wanda Mkhize.

The latest content on TelkomONE is accessible to AMP subscribers. While there is a selection of free content accessible on the platform in order to get full access you will need to pay a subscription fee. The good news is that at R49 per month and R7 per day, AMP on TelkomONE is incredibly affordable and most importantly flexible as regards pricing.

Even better, if you are a Telkom Mobile subscriber, you can get access to free data with monthly AMP subscriptions.

With DStv turning its back on concurrent streams perhaps TelkomONE can emerge as the best way to watch sport and other content online, provided it is able to get access to big ticket events.

You can sign up for TelkomONE for free or with an AMP subscription here.
