Steam Deck continues to be the top selling product on Steam

The Steam Deck is enjoying another week as the top seller on Steam after it also claimed that position seven days ago.

This according to Steam Database (SteamDB) which provides a recap at the start of every week revealing the top ten performers on the platform organised by revenue generated.

These high sales are likely due to the fact that Valve opened up the Q2 orders for those who reserved hardware. Earlier this month, on 4th April, Valve revealed that it had started sending out order emails to those with reservations.

As these order emails go out in batches, and the Steam Deck is so desirable, it’s no wonder that it’s in first place.

Other Valve hardware is also on this list in sixth place with the Index VR Kit.

The rest of the top ten selling list for Steam can be found below:

  1. Steam Deck
  2. ELDEN RING
  3. Cyberpunk 2077
  4. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  5. LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  6. Valve Index VR Kit
  7. No Man’s Sky
  8. DayZ
  9. Squad
  10. Call of Duty: Black Ops III

There’s more familiar faces here with Elden Ring and LEGO Star Wars both continuing to sell well.

Cyberpunk 2077 manages to nab bronze here due to the fact that it’s 50 percent off until 2nd May. This half off deal is available on all platforms so everyone can try the game for less if they’ve been avoiding it until now.

The last spots on the list are all dedicated to games that have been out for some time.

No Man’s Sky gets seventh place here thanks to the new, free expansion called Outlaws. The game manages to appear on top seller lists every time one of these new expansions comes out so it seems that it continues to make financial sense for developer and publisher Hello Games to continue with these free updates.

Finally DayZ also has a decent sale going – 40 percent off until 28th April – which is likely why it’s here.

Squad likely brought in sales thanks to a free weekend, a now ended 25 percent off sale and a new update.
