LEGO Star Wars a top seller behind Elden Ring, Steam Deck

Tomorrow, 5th April, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is finally released, and many people have already bought it in numbers close to Elden Ring and the Steam Deck

This is according to third party tracker Steam Database (SteamDB) which, every week, compiles a list of the top 10 performing games on Valve’s store by revenue generated.

The new LEGO outing comes in at third place with no surprises at the top as Elden Ring claims another week as the best selling product on Steam.

The Steam Deck has second place likely because, on 28th March, the last batch of emails went out for those who ordered the hardware for Q1. For those who didn’t keep up with the launch of this product, buyers had to book a spot in line through Steam and then wait for an email when ordered opened up before they could actually pay for their device.

The last of these emails for the first window went out which is why the sales increased.

Back to LEGO now and we highly suspect that, next week, The Skywalker Saga will be higher on the list as people jump in on or around launch date. As we reported on recently LEGO Star Wars was all the way in 10th place in the last list, so it made a massive jump up this time.

  • ELDEN RING
  • Steam Deck
  • LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
  • Valve Index VR Kit Package
  • Dread Hunger
  • The Planet Crafter
  • Ghostwire: Tokyo
  • Disco Elysium – The Final Cut
  • DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR’S CUT
  • Midnight Ghost Hunt.

Looking at the rest of the list and most of the titles here offer up no surprises as they’ve all been here before.

The one exception here seems to be The Planet Crafter, an indie title which launched on 22nd March.

“A space survival open world terraforming crafting game. Transform the ecosystem of a hostile planet to make it livable for humans. Survive, collect, build your base then create oxygen, heat and pressure to make a brand new biosphere,” reads the game’s description.

It has launched in Early Access where it plans to stay between one and two years. Those who want to give it a spin without spending any money can do so through a free demo on the Steam page.
