Tomorrow is Star Wars Day aka May the Fourth aka 4th May 2022 and to celebrate, Fortnite is bringing back a load of cosmetic items from the series.
Between today and 17th May every item from Star Wars (excluding those from Battle Passes) will return.
Starting with outfits, some of which you can see in the header image above, the following characters will once again be available to buy as skins in Fortnite:
- “Imperial Stormtrooper
- Kylo Ren
- Zorii Bliss
- Finn
- Rey
- Sith Trooper
- Boba Fett
- Fennec Shand
- Krrsantan.”
The E-11 Blaster Rifle can be found on the island in chests or by locating Stormtroopers which will hand them over in exchange for gold bars.
For those who hate rebel scum, you can work with the Empire and its Stormtroopers even more. A new series of quests will have players confiscating vehicles and lightsabers to earn rewards including an Empire Banner.
For the lightsabers it seems Epic Games has also worked in some cross promotion with the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi show which premieres on Disney+ after May the Fourth on 27th May. The Stormtroopers which have the Blaster Rifles are apparently searching for Obi-Wan too.
“Lightsabers are back! Pick up Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber, Kylo Ren’s Lightsaber, and Mace Windu’s Lightsaber across the Island. What about the blue lightsabers? There are blue ones too, but this time they’re Obi-Wan’s,” the announcement reads.
