Creative audio needs Creative hardware

Creative is an absolute legend in the PC audio space thanks to its long and prestigious line of Sound Blaster cards that created the gold standard for audio excellence.

That same excellence continues today and, while its Sound Blaster cards are still going strong, what many may not know is that the company has branched out into just about every avenue of hardware. If it makes music and runs on electricity, there’s likely a Creative product to make it sound even better.

Consider then the Creative T60 and T100, two standalone speaker pairs that are the perfect final touch to any desktop PC setup, wherever that may be.

Both come with great features such as Bluetooth 5.0 and several wired connection options so they can easily switch between portable audio solutions and more permanent sound for your home. This flexibility and forethought from manufacturers has been missing from the PC audio space for the longest time with most solutions only working in one way, but Creative gives you a number of options.

Need more punch? The Creative BS E2500 and BS E2900 are each the complete package with a pair of satellite speakers and a subwoofer.

These two represent the no compromises solution by boasting features to do just about everything. Connect them via Bluetooth, connect them via various cabling options included in the box, forget the PC entirely and listen to FM radio or drop your content onto an SD card and listen from there.

There’s really endless possibilities across the range here, all backed up with that Creative excellence which means, no matter what you pick, your audio game will improve.

The Pebble family

The Creative Pebble range is a series of speaker offerings that combine great sound, modern looks and serious hardware into a tiny footprint and minimalist aesthetic.

Our header image above shows a pair of Pebbles flanking a notebook where you can see the unique spherical bodies that give the Pebble range its name.

But which Pebble to get? There are several options available between the original Pebble, V2, V3 and Pebble Plus.

Creative has offered up this wide range to allow you to get the Pebble product that best suits your needs and your budget.

Let’s start with the Pebble Plus because it sets itself apart from the pack by offering a down-firing subwoofer along with the two pebble satellite speakers. This adds in extra thump and immersion to your audio experience while still packing subwoofer hardware into a relatively small body that suits the small and unobtrusive nature of the Pebble range.

Those who don’t need a subwoofer can then shop the rest of the Pebble offerings with each successive version offering differences like a USB-C to USB-A converter in the box with the V2 and V3. A great inclusion for some but if your USB-C ports are already full then it’s not needed.
