Elden Ring returns to the Steam top seller list

Elden Ring has made a comeback on the Steam top seller list after an absence of several weeks.

The latest FromSoftware game appeared as a top seller ever since it launched on 25th February. It fell off the list around the start of the Steam Summer Sale 2022 for two big reasons: it was one of the few games on the platform not discounted, and the Steam Deck was finally being rolled out in higher numbers and it claimed the top spot.

The Steam Deck domination continues this week marking yet another consecutive win for the handheld PC.

These weekly reports are collated by Steam Database (SteamDB) which provides a recap of the best performers on the platform by revenue generated in the last week.

The latest list can be viewed below and, once again, because of the way Steam organises itself one game can appear multiple times in the list due to the fact that different editions and buying options are listed as separate titles. This is why Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
Monster Hunter Rise, F1 22 and Raft have managed to claim seven of the ten spots here.

  1. Steam Deck | 1st last week
  2. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
  3. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak | 7th last week
  4. Raft | 4th last week
  5. DNF Duel
  6. F1 22
  7. Monster Hunter Rise | 5th last week
  8. Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands | 3rd last week
  9. Rust | 9th last week
  10. F1 22.

DNF Duel, the most recent fighting game from Arc System Works, makes a respectable appearance right in the middle of the list.

It and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands seem to the the outliers this week with no multiple entries or outside forces drumming up sales.

We’ll now have to wait another week to see if Elden Ring can stay on the list and if it can trade blows with the Steam Deck once again for the number one position.
