We are a few months out from the release of Marvel’s Midnight Suns and now we have a closer look at how Iron Man will operate in this new game.

The new “Meet Iron Man” trailer, which you can watch in the embed below, is relatively short, but does give us a taste of some of the voice acting, animations and skins we will see in the game.

The trailer also gives us a description of the character but it’s so generic it could be used to describe just about any incarnation.

“Possessing bottomless cash reserves and a brilliant intellect, Tony Stark knows all about privilege. He has the resources to turn any challenge into a success, thanks to his own mind and the wealth from his father’s corporation. After a deadly bomb blast, he even transformed the shrapnel lodged in his chest and threatening his heart into a net-benefit; it pushed him to perfect not only his innovative Arc Reactor, but also a hi-tech suit of armor,” the description reads.

What we really would have liked to read is something about how Tony Stark came to be fighting with the titular Midnight Suns and his involvement in the ongoing fight. Maybe this is being saved for the game itself though.

Iron Man is the latest in these hero spotlights. Captain America was the first character that got the focus placed on him with four different videos released in the last week. There’s been a “meet” video like we now have for Iron man, a gameplay showcase and a video about the long history of Steve Rogers.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns launches on PC (Steam and Epic games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on 7th October.
