Sonic the Hedgehog has appeared in Fall Guys before but now the two are crossing over with an event featuring a new level called, wait for it, “Bean Hill Zone”.
For those out of the loop Green Hill Zone is the famous level seen in numerous Sonic games while “Bean” is a somewhat official nickname of the round characters you play as in Fall Guys.
The Sonic’s Adventure Event is live now until 15th August so there’s still time to enjoy what’s on offer here, but not too much time. Appropriate for the speedy character though this could be a detriment for those who had other plans this weekend.
“For our main event, players need to score points by picking up rings. It’ll be muscle memory to all you Sonic heads who cut your teeth on the SEGA Genesis. The aim of each round is to snag as many rings as possible, qualifying for the next round. Those who don’t, get eliminated. There are conveyor belts and log bridges to throw you off your A-game, obviously,” the announcement reads.
There’s costumes aplenty here based on various Sonic characters, as you can see in the header image above and the event trailer below. They all look appropriate for the Full Guys aesthetic though that Eggman / Dr. Robotnik creeps us out a bit. That costume veers a bit too much away from the “guy in a mascot suit” that the rest of the skins go for.
Creepiness aside there are, of course, unlockables here with the following available along with their point costs:

- Sonic Sneakers – 1000 Points
