With videogame crossovers a common part of the landscape we wouldn’t be surprised if you told us that Rick and Morty were appearing in the upcoming God of War Ragnarok. But while that won’t happen in the actual game, it has already happened in the world of advertising.

Adult Swim has, on its various social media accounts, uploaded an advert called “Rick and Morty x PlayStation” which is an animated advert for God of War Ragnarok.

Like other Rick and Morty adverts with brands this is still high quality with the same calibre of animation seen in the actual show. It seems to be show co-creator, writer and voice actor Justin Roiland voicing both characters too.

Those hoping for more information about Ragnarok will be disappointed, while those weary of spoilers are safe to click watch on the embed below.

Either way it’s a fun extra shot of Rick and Morty as season six kicks off.

For those wanting even more, there’s yet another animated advert for Wendy’s.

The American fast food chain has had several similar adverts with Rick and Morty in the past making this just another one in a series. We wouldn’t be surprised if, in the future, you could stitch all the Wendy’s adverts together and make a full length episode of the show.

This one isn’t as fun as the one for God of War, but maybe that’s just because we’ve seen these food-related adverts so many times in the past.
