A new Blue Tag Sale has been launched by Samsung South Africa, with select models of Galaxy phones and smart TVs being offered at discounted prices.

The sale is expected to last until 10th September, so South African shoppers still have quite a bit of time to take advantage of some of these deals.

To start, three A-series smartphones have received a 35 percent discount.

The Samsung Galaxy A24, which launched locally in May 2023 is one of the latest devices in the series.

It features a 5 000mAh battery, a 50MP main camera, full HD screen, and 4GB of RAM. It is now being reduced to R4 499 as part of the Blue Tag Sale. You can save R600.

The other two smartphones seeing discounted prices as part of the sale are the Galaxy A04s and the Galaxy A14.

A 32GB version of the Galaxy A04s is on offer for R2 699, while a 64GB version of the Galaxy A14 has been discounted to R3 299. With both, you can save around R500.

Both of these devices have large 5 000mAh batteries, and 50MP main cameras. The difference will be in the fidelity of the display and in the performance hardware.

Apart from these smartphones, the Blue Tag Sale is also offering discounts for wearables, tablets, home appliances and smart TVs, and even Galaxy Buds.

For example, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro are seeing a R1 000 discount, and you can scoop a pair up for R2 999 right now.

Three different tablets are on sale now from Samsung, including the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, both the LTE and WiFi version, and the Galaxy Tab S7 FE 5G.

Pick up a Galaxy Watch4 or Watch5 at a reduced price of R2 999 or R4 799 respectively, and save R1 700 or R1 200. With the latest smartwatch from the brand, the Galaxy Watch 6 soon to be released in the local market, now may be a good time to dip your feet in the Galaxy Watch life with one of these older models.

There are several TVs being offered at reduced prices, including those in the brand’s QLED range. Some of these can save you as much as R13 000. For example, the Samsung QLED 4K Q80 C at 65″ is going for R24 999 (from R37 999).

You can also save R6 996 on a 55″ 2022 Serif 4K UHD Smart TV during the Blue Tag Sale. This model is now going for R14 999, while the smaller 43″ inch version is now at R8 299 (with R7 700 worth of savings).

Alongside smart TVs, the company is also offering discounts in gaming monitors. Including savings of up to R2 000 on Samsung Odyssey screens and others.

You can now get the 27″ QHD Gaming Monitor for R5 999 (from R7 999), as well as the 32″ 4K smart TV monitor for R6999 (from R9 999).

In terms of appliances, you can save R4 000 on a 21KG Samsung Top Loader, with “BubbleStorm” technology, now priced at R13 999. The 9kg front loader is also being discounted, and is now at R8 999.

You can save R1 000 on a Samsung Grill Microwave Oven MG402MADXBB, now going for R2 499, or get the Electric Solo Microwave Oven ME9114S1 for R1 899 and save R600.
