You can stream the entire 2023 Premier League live on Showmax Pro

  • Showmax Pro subscribers can watch every game of the 2023/2024 Premier League live on the platform.
  • This continues a long trend of Showmax Pro featuring premiere football tournaments including the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
  • The first game between Burnley and Manchester City kicks-off at 21:00 on Friday evening.

While there may be plans afoot to evolve Showmax, the streaming platform as it currently exists continues to impress us in the Hypertext office. Not only does Showmax offer a fantastic stream of constantly refreshed content, Showmax Pro continues to offer a premium streaming experience, especially for sports fans.

On Thursday it was announced that Showmax Pro would be streaming the 2023/2024 Premier League courtesy of SuperSport.

The Premier League begins on Friday 11th August at 21:00 when Burnley faces off against reigning champions Manchester City.

Showmax Pro has featured a steady stream of premiere football content. The platform livestreamed both the 2022 FIFA World Cup and is currently streaming the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. The platform has also streamed the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League in the past.

We’d love to see this expanded to more sporting events.

Showmax Pro also offers live news streams from Euronews, Newzroom Afrika and Africanews.

As mentioned, Showmax is about to undergo something of a refresh. Earlier this year MultiChoice announced plans to partner with various other firms to expand Showmax. There has been no visible movement from MultiChoice since this announcement but we’re keeping our eyes open for any further news.

For now, Showmax Pro still costs R349 per month which lets you stream on two devices at the same time. Alternatively, you could pick up Showmax Pro Mobile for R225 per month although this limits you to streaming on a smartphone and tablet exclusively.
