To promote the fourth season of arguably the world’s most popular reality show, Disney+ South Africa has devised an in-person experience where fans of The Kardashians can basically LARP as their favourite fabulously wealthy socialites.

This new experience, a mobile pop-up station, is coming to Gauteng and Disney+ promises that it will be “immersive.” The whole experience seems to be a worldwide idea from the streaming company, as similar pop-ups have been seen as far as Manchester, UK.

“‘The Kardashians’ Experience’ is a unique, free pop-up event that will transport fans into the world of the famous family. Visitors will be able to enter a specially-branded airstream and stop by the glam station before creating their own ‘konfessional’ to camera,” reads the announcement from the Walt Disney firm.

Basically, fans of the series will be able to go into a combi bus that has been specifically pimped out in the guise of the Kardashian lifestyle where they will be able to record reality TV-like thoughts and opinions to make them feel like they are in the show themselves.

“The iconic ‘konfessional’ is a staple part of the series, where the famous family share their own views and thoughts on the latest drama and intrigue – and now fans can get a glimpse into the world of reality TV and create their own shareable social content,” the company further explains.

Disney+ says that the entire experience is coming to areas and events around Gauteng, and it has yet to announce any specific pop-up locations. Instead, fans can check out the Disney+ South Africa X account for updates on where next the Kardashians bus will materialise.

South African subscribers to Disney+ can enjoy the fourth season of the series now on the streaming platform, where all three other seasons are also available.
