International startup community Startup Grind is bringing its popular global event to Johannesburg this June.

Startup Grind is hosted in more than 100 cities and 42 countries worldwide, bringing together successful local founders, innovators, educators and investors whose expertise are firmly rooted in the development and advancements of their particular disciplines.

Startup Grind Johannesburg will feature an interview with Novell content management specialist and founder of Open-Technik Pty Ltd., Freddy Mahhumane.

“Startup Grind Johannesburg is interested in building and interacting with the entrepreneurial community of Gauteng, especially the budding Startup and VC community,” Johannesburg chapter director, Athule Mbena said in a press release. “Considering Startup Grind Johannesburg’s objectives, Mahhumane is the ideal candidate to kick off the Johannesburg Chapter.”

The event will take place on 18th June, from 6:30pm to 9pm at the Gauteng Growth Development Agency (GGDA) in Sandton. Tickets are R260 per person. More information to follow.
