Later this month Far Cry 5 will hit shelves and after a tearing through Oros we’re excited to fast forward back to the present day for the next game in the franchise.

The game is set for release on 27th March and yesterday Ubisoft gave us a peak at what the Season Pass for the game will contain. So strap yourself in because unlike most DLC this actually looks, awesome.

Ubisoft has included three adventures in the Far Cry 5 season pass each with a unique setting and story line. Take a gander at the announcement video below.

For those that can’t watch the video let’s unwrap the trailer briefly.

First and perhaps most importantly the adventures appear to be inspired by the action movies that in turn inspired Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. The first DLC will be titled Hours of Darkness and will see players rescuing prisoners of war in Vietnam.

The second DLC – Lost on Mars – looks a lot like Destiny and will see players saving Earth from an alien invasion.

The final DLC is titled Dead Living Zombies and it looks like a zombie horde mode.

There’s also good news for Season Pass buyers, Ubisoft will give you Far Cry 3 Classic Edition.

The firm also detailed Far Cry Arcade which allows players to build and share levels for other players to experience. That mode is free to all players as are Live Events which offer sweet loot.

Far Cry 5 and the season pass are currently available for pre-order.
