Marvel Future Revolution is finally available to everyone

After being revealed back in March 2020 as “Marvel’s first open world RPG on mobile“, Future Revolution is now finally available for everyone on Android and iOS from today.

For those a bit confused thinking they’ve seen the game available before now, well you’re not wrong. In the last year or so the game has been available early in certain regions for testing as well as open for coverage to some content creators and reviewers.

Today on 25th August, however, is the true global launch where everyone can get in on things.

That being said a sizeable amount of people did play in on those different forms of early access. Despite today being the launch the game already has 11 434 reviews on the Google Play Store.

The average rating, at the time of writing, is 4.4 stars out of five. Netmarble, the game’s developer and a recognisable studio behind many other mobile titles, is replying to certain reviews with promises to fix found problems and improve on the game in general in the future.

As for performance on Apple’s store, the official account for the game reports that Future Revolution was the number one pre-download title on the App Store in 78 countries.

For those who have missed coverage of the game before now you can see some gameplay in the trailer below. This is a third person brawler and RPG set against the backdrop of universes colliding allowing for multiples of the same characters to exist at once. This also allows Netmarble to sell countless skins for the playable characters and have it justified in-universe.

Marvel Future Revolution is available right now for Android and iOS devices requiring 1.6GB and 1.7GB of free space respectively. Like most mobile games the download is free but there are randomised mechanics and in-app purchases ranging from R16.99 all the way up to a whopping R1 499.99.
