Fortnite continues its DC kick after Superman was added last week and Suicide Squad members the week before that. Wonder Woman, the Amazonian, will become the newest addition on 19th August.

Wonder Woman will follow the exact release as many other crossovers with a bundle available offering several items themed after the character, and a tournament event offering early access.

“You can purchase Wonder Woman (with her Armored variant) in the Item Shop on August 19, 2021 at 8pm ET. Deck out your entire locker with her set that includes the Golden Eagle Wings Glider, Athena’s Battleaxe, DC Trinity Loading Screen, and Diana’s Mantle Back Bling that comes in two variants,” an announcement reads.

On 18th August the Wonder Woman Cup will take place. Participants have three hours to complete 10 matches with winners in each region chosen by the highest points earned during that time.

“The top performing teams in each region will receive the Wonder Woman Outfit and Diana’s Mantle Back Bling. Any team that earns eight points or more will also receive the Honorary Amazons Loading Screen,” adds the details page for the event.

As such it’s fairly standard fair for Diana Prince. There’s no Battle Pass unlock as with Superman or an involved comic like Batman, which is a pity. That being said, as always, it’s nice to see more characters arrive in Fortnite. It’s always some person’s first interaction with the character and that is doubly true for Fortnite and its young playerbase.

You see what the new Wonder Woman content will look like in the images below. The golden wings remind us of the gold armour that appeared recently in the Wonder Woman 1984 movie. It didn’t really do much in the movie but it sure looked nice and was the basis for a lot of toys.
