Latest Pokémon Evolutions episode focuses on Lysandre

As Pokémon continues to celebrate its 25th anniversary this year another episode of the Evolutions animations has been released for free on YouTube, this time featuring Team Flare boss Lysandre.

Episode three, titled “The Visionary”, takes place right at the end of the story from the Pokémon games X and Y.

“When chasing your dream, do you give up when everyone tells you it’s wrong? Should you listen? Or do you continue to follow your vision, even if it puts all of Kalos at risk? For Lysandre, that’s never been a question…” the episode description reads.

We also get to see Mega Gyarados here, as controlled by Lysandre. Pokémon X and Y introduced the Mega Evolution mechanic so it makes sense that it would at least get some screen time here.

That being said this episode is rather light on the action with the only battle here – Mega Gyarados versus Xerneas – was completed in a split second.

Episode three winds up as out least favourite so far. Below you can find the list of all the upcoming episodes as well as links to one and two which are available already.

As we pointed out in the past Pokémon Evolutions is working its way through the regions of the games in reverse chronologic order.

Episode one, which was set in the most recent region of Galar, is still top of the pile for us thanks to some great battle animations. Episode two in Alola is also great with Lunala squaring off against Necrozma.

There’s still five more episodes to go before Pokémon Evolutions comes to an end.
