A trio of NASCARs are coming to Rocket League

More real world cars – after the recent Lambo launch – will arrive in Rocket League before the end of the month as the game crosses over with NASCAR.

On 20th April Ford, Chevrolet and Toyota will all be represented in the game by way of their NASCAR counterparts, all using the hitbox of the Dominus.

The three cars will all come with additional cosmetics included in a bundle called the Fan Pass with the contents revealed below.

2022 NASCAR Fan Pass (1 100 Credits):

  • NASCAR Next Gen Ford Mustang
  • NASCAR Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro
  • NASCAR Next Gen Toyota Camry
  • NASCAR Next Gen Engine Audio for all 3 Next Gen Cars
  • Next Gen Goodyear Racing Wheels
  • 9 NASCAR Team Decals + Matching Player Banners
    • Toyota Camry
      • Joe Gibbs Racing #19
    • Chevrolet Camaro
      • Hendrick Motorsports #5
      • Spire Motorsports #7
      • Trackhouse Racing #1
      • Richard Childress Racing #8
    • Ford Mustang
      • Team Penske #12
      • Front Row Motorsports #34
      • RFK Racing #17
      • Stewart-Haas Racing #4.

Not included in that long list is future content that buyers will get access to if they part with their money. Two more content drops are planned for later this year with only decals mentioned by name. The first of these is said to arrive in the US Summer (late June to late September) with the second in the US Fall (late September to late December).

For those who happen to be in America and will be attending the GEICO 500 Race at Talladega, they will be able to play Rocket League in the “gaming truck” owned by Allied Esports at the event on 24th April.

We’re not sure why you’d travel to a racing event to play a game from 2015 that is now free, but hey if you’re already there why not?

Finally, while the NASCAR Fan Pass 2022 launches on 20th April, it won’t stick around forever. The paid DLC will disappear from the in-game shop on 26th April.

Until then we have a very short trailer showing off some of what’s in the bundle below.
