After a two year absence, rAge and the NAG BYOC LAN are back this weekend.
As The Dome is now a parking lot, the organisers have moved the event to Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand and so far it’s a good move. Hypertext has been working from the event all day and while there is a steady stream of visitors, there is also ample space compared to previous events.
For tis edition of the htxtafricast we speak to a number of big tech brands who had some exciting announcements at rAge. First up we speak with Glenn du Toit, country manager at Acer and Nitesh Doolabh, Africa Consumer Sales Manager at Intel.
In this conversation we chat about the Intel Africa Masters happening this weekend, the market outlook for both brands after the pandemic and Intel Arc GPUs.
We also speak with Bennie Budler, Consumer Business Manager at Acer about what tech you should be on the lookout from the brand at rAge, and the future.
Finally we speak with ASUS South Africa about their ROG Phone 6 and the notebooks they have on display at the event.
