• Samsung has revealed its new Galaxy S23 series of phones, which includes three models.
• Samsung Mobile South Africa has also confirmed local pricing for the devices, with increases across the board.
• The new devices will be available to purchase in SA later this month, with pre-orders going live soon.

It is 1st February, which means the first Galaxy Unpacked for 2023 has come and gone. During the live streamed event, Samsung debuted its latest lineup of flagship phones with the Galaxy S23 series.

These include the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, all of which will be made available to purchase in South Africa in four different colour options – Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender.

A hotly anticipated new lineup of phones, Samsung Mobile South Africa has also confirmed local availability and pricing for the Galaxy S23 series. Perhaps unsurprisingly, these new devices are more expensive than their predecessors, with increases ranging from R1 000 to R3 000 depending on the model.

To that end, Samsung says recommended pricing for the Galaxy S23 series is as follows:

• Samsung Galaxy S23 – R21 999,
• Samsung Galaxy S23+ – R23 999,
• Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra – R32 999.

As for availability, pre-orders go live tomorrow, 2nd February via Samsung itself, as well as local retail partners. From there, the series will be available to purchase on 25th February onwards in SA.
