When it comes to security cameras, basic footage will no longer do. While more than two million pixels may seem like a lot, the truth is that it isn’t. It’s the reason why many TVs and other appliances have ditched 1080p as the standard for their resolutions. 1080p no longer offers the clarity and quality that consumers need, and you can see this yourself with larger 1080p screens that offer a poor picture even at medium distance.
