No matter how many times a wild animal ends up with a GoPro (or similar action camera) in its paws or claws, it doesn’t get old. In this case we have footage of a caracara finding a camera on a rocky beach, picking it up, and then flying over a penguin colony.
Unlike other videos where cameras were accidentally snatched or purposely rigged the furry videographer, this camera was planted. Its owners camouflaged the camera by hiding it in an egg-shaped housing. Naturally, the curious birds were far more eager to investigate this unhatched ovoid, and kicked it around the beach – trigger warning: the footage from these segments might make you dizzy – and ultimately taking flight with it.
