New Spider-Man suits revealed for Marvel’s Avengers

A few days ago we got our first glimpse at what Spider-Man will look like when he’s released in Marvel’s Avengers later this month, but the reveal was rather sparse in the fashion department.

Marvel’s Avengers has a big focus on alternate suits and costumes for playable characters both as unlocks players can get by simply playing the game as well as real-money options that can be bought.

It was then a bit strange for the reveal to happen without some enticing alternate looks revealed to get players to open up their wallets, but that has changed with the reveal of two new suits for Spidey.

Both suits, strangely, look a lot like armour instead of the regular spandex that we’re used to seeing for this character.

Like suits for other characters in this game the designs are based off of key comics with this red armour number being the first.

The second of the two reveals is our favourite with a shiny metallic surface and black accents.

This is just two suits and we expect a few dozen more but it will be interesting to see if this game can match Marvel’s Spider-Man which originally launched in 2018.

While Marvel’s Avengers is available on Xbox consoles, PC and Google Stadia, Spider-Man will be exclusive to PlayStation systems.

“The iconic web slinger Spider-Man will come exclusively to PlayStation players in the November 30 update along with the Spider-Man: With Great Power Hero Event! You’ll experience Spider-Man’s story through unlockable challenges woven throughout the Avengers Initiative,” an announcement reads.

For those on Xbox and PC, Marvel’s Avengers is included with Game Pass so you can try the game out without spending a cent which, going off of our launch review, is a proper price for this game.
