How to solve the Snowpoint Temple door puzzles in Legends: Arceus

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is finally out and many people are speeding through the main story. If you fall into that camp and have found yourself stuck in the Snowpoint Temple mission, we’re here to help.

Before we outright give you the answers – feel free to jump ahead if that’s all you want – here’s some extra information to solve it yourself.

Once you enter one of the rooms with the puzzle doors find the nearest staue that is meant to represent the Legendary Titans. Each of these statues has the words “Ice”, “Steel” and “Rock” on them representing Regice, Registeel and Regirock respectively.

Your job is to find out the right order of these types. The way to find this order is rather simple: the statue nearest the entrance is first and the statue nearest the puzzle door (AKA the exit) is the last.

The order between these two are determined by the direction the statues are facing. Starting with the first statue follow its line of sight until you get to another statue and repeat until the exit / puzzle door.

The one problem you may run into is that some rooms have statues hidden away in smaller cutouts, and some walls have windows in them which can throw off your order.

This is all hinted at by the NPC at the front of Snowpoint Temple and the doors themselves, but the extra explanation we’ve provided can help.

And, of course, you can simply skip all that and use our solution:

First Door
1. Rock
2. Steel
3. Ice

Second Door
1. Ice
2. Rock
3. Steel
4. Rock
5. Ice

Third Door
1. Steel
2. Ice
3. Rock
4. Ice
5. Steel
6. Rock

Ever since the spin tile room in the Team Rocket Hideout two decades ago the Pokémon franchise has been known for some irritating puzzles, but thankfully Legends: Arceus is rather light on these annoyances.
