Those enjoying Pokémon Scarlet and Violet may be surprised to see Daft Punk make an appearance… kind of. As part of the character customisation in the game there is a variety of headwear, including a helmet that looks like an exact copy of the famous gold lid worn by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.
Those who want this helmet for themselves will be happy to hear that it’s not particularly difficult to get, though the city it is located in may be come a bit later in a playthrough.
Those who want it ASAP can find a quick guide from us below:
- Go to Cascarrafa on the West side of the map.
- Locate the Seguro Style store, it’s near the Cascarrafa Gym building.
- Navigate to the Headwear section of the store.
- Buy the Cool Helmet in gold.
- Pay 4 000 in cash or League Points.
Cascarrafa may be accessible only later in the game, so if you’re having a hard time reaching it you may need to play through other story content before gaining access.
As for finding the store once reaching Cascarrafa, simply use the map. By zooming in as much as possible the map will show icons for stores, with clothing outlets indicated by a T-shirt icon. You can hover over these icons to see the name of the store, and you will need to find Seguro Style.
The gold option for the “Cool Helmet” is the closest to the Daft Punk look but several other colours are also available, these being: white, black, red, yellow, green, blue, orange, navy, purple, pink, grey, beige, olive, brown, silver, and aurora. The aurora option is a blue / purple metallic look.
The metallic versions, including the gold, are reflective. Given the incredibly low resolution of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, on top of the overall bad visual presentation – see our full review for more – this reflection doesn’t look great but does help sell the look here.
