We are now in the third month of 2022 and, as we get deeper into the year, there’s a new africast to listen to.
We start this week on some reports back on what we have been reviewing and testing in the past week, starting with Shadow Warrior 3. This return to a simpler shooter format may be exactly what detractors of Shadow Warrior 2 wanted, but it left us wanting for more content or deeper mechanics that felt old even as the credits rolled after only six hours.
Also in for review was Gran Turismo 7, the premiere racing title for the PlayStation. It left us impressed both in terms of gameplay and visuals as it looked stunning running on the PlayStation 5.
Finally we talk about a big project in the works in the form of the Hypertext test bench which we have been developing with help and hardware from Gigabyte South Africa. This new platform will allow us to bring you more PC component reviews in the future.
Our main topic this week is the month of March and what movies / shows, games and products we are looking forward to.
We won’t spoil our choices here, but it’s an eclectic collection of choices that includes re-releases, new seasons, lots of money and some delayed products that will finally be available in South Africa later this month.
